Port Loopback for Ethernet Ports. The 7210 SAS supports port loopback for Ethernet ports. There are two flavors of port loopback commands - port loopback without mac-swap and port loopback with mac-swap. GETVPN Crypto Map on loopback. Ali, Enabling local-address on crypto map has two-fold effect. 1) We will use this address as source of our IKE and IPsec communication. 2) If isakmp identity is set to address we will use address sepcified by local-address as IKE identity.

we use Z-App 2.1.2.113 (Windows 10) with Z-Tunnel 2.0, Tunnel-mode and PacketFilterDriver. In the ZSATunnel-Log we found entries like these:

Sounds like we should enable “Disable Loopback Restriction”-switch, but AFAIK it should not be needed for this configuration (neither should “Restart WinHTTP Service” nor “Override WPAD”). Zscaler documentation states these switches are only applicable if using Local Proxy Mode. But maybe I am just misinterpreting this logentry.
Can someone enlighten me please what exactly that means?
