Receiver 12.7 DisplayLink. I am using High Sierra on my Macbook Pro 2011 model with a USB dock that uses DisplayLink to output to a second monitor. Symptoms or Error
French Canadian special accent characters not displaying correctly when accessing a Windows 7 VDA from a Mac client device with Receiver for OSX 12.4.
On a Mac with a French Canadian keyboard, the circumflex character (^) is not mapped as expected with Receiver Mac version 12 connecting to a Windows 7 VDA. - keyboard layout is 'Francais Canadien' on the Mac as well as the VDA image - French characters with French Canadian Keyboard are not mapped properly in the session.
When you enter the (^) character the preceding character is erased and then writes the ^ instead (ex. fête becomes ^ête). -Similar issue with `à' etc... -Issue is happening while using Jabber ,IE, Chrome -Using Word or notepad you do not see any issues.
